I recently had a fantastic stay at a charming and cozy B&B just a stone's throw away from a beautiful forest. The location was perfect for nature lovers like myself, as it offered stunning walks through the nearby Sonian forest. The owners of the B&B were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to accommodate my specific dietary needs and even recommending some delicious Belgian beers. The rooms were lovely, with tasteful and quirky decorations, and I especially loved having my own little patio to relax on. , the breakfast provided was simply wonderful, with a continental spread including cold meats and smoked salmon.
Everything was ok.

The hotel had a good breakfast with a decent selection of food items to choose from and great coffee. The location was convenient for business purposes and had easy access to major highways in the area. the hotel provided free Wi-Fi throughout our stay.
Our room lacked the cleanliness we expected. The bathroom showed signs of wear and tear, the toilet seat was loose, and water pressure was low.

A hidden gem surrounded by lush greenery, Hippo-Droom provided the perfect escape for our family. The owners were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the local Belgian beer scene, adding a unique touch to our evenings after exploring the nearby Horta Museum and Museum of Musical Instruments. Our children loved the rustic charm of the converted stables and the opportunity to interact with the friendly horses on-site. The location, nestled in the heart of the Sonian forest, offered endless opportunities for beautiful walks and adventurous bike rides. It was truly a serene and rejuvenating experience for the whole family.
For families with children, my kids wished for more activities on-site to keep them entertained.
